Great page, Awsome baja! I still cant belive you got to sleep on that 16 hour trip! Anyway, Where the hell do you get super swampers?? I NEEEEEED them! 2 more things, Does anyone out there know why you almost never see an engine begger than 1600cc? I am about to order my 2180cc and I need to know if thats going to be a problem of some sort. Last thing is, when we bought this vw bug from these 2 people, they had no CLUE how much it was worth >:) bwhahaha so being as evil as I am I took their 1959 vw b g that is in GREAT shape *little rust* AND RUNS!! off of their hands for $1600. Man, that is a VERY COOL CAR! My son and I just got a `68 baja that needs help. The $100 we spent on it was a steal. It was used as a hunting buggy out here. I have 8 acres behind my house that is being farmed at the moment, but by the time everything gets harvested, I hope to have the car ready to rock and roll. The previous owner gave us a 1200cc motor that is just going to sit on a pallet. I want to bench build a 1600cc. There are no places to get parts around here so I`m gonna do the mail order hing over the computer. I have owned several VW`s in the past but never a Baja. If you have any suggestions as to what web site I should order from I would appreciate it. Love your car man. Dave.
