REMARKS AND/OR STORY : By Chance, I found this car at a Saturday Nite Cruise In at The Point After. This kid had it parked in the back and I happened to see it. After checking it out, I realized it was a RT/SE in ruff shape but the price was right. Monday it was in my driveway. The Kid said he needed the money to fix-up his chevy (go figure?). With the help of Mary, Wayne Hettler and Roy Wright the car was back on the roads in 9 months. I stripped the car and put it on a rotisserie, where it was sand blasted top to bottom. The rear Quarters, trunk and other holes replaced and filled with metal. I, then, painted the car with Base/Clear in B5 blue to match a RT/SE that I had owned earlier. After a couple of problems in ‘97 (blown head gasket & wheel seal), the car is a good driver. We have put a lot of miles on this summer with very few problems.
