(Neon Genesis: Evangelion)
This series is the newest one I've seen so far. Originally, I only watched anime for the violence and action, but never really much for the storyline, until Evangelion. Sure, I was bored during the 1st episode, but then when good action and fighting started happening, I gave this cartoon a little more credit and kept watching. Sooner or later, I realized that this cartoon isn't about fighting... it's about the story! This series has the most intriguing, suspensful, entertaining plot I've ever seen... it's a lot more deeper than your average cartoon series, or a hollywood movie for that matter! If you are over 15, I strongly urge you to see this cartoon... not because it's dirty or anything, but you need to have a mature mind to understand and have the patience to watch this cartoon for what it is. This one ranks as probably the best anime cartoon in my opinion.
Well, this section is based on all the Dragon Ball series in general.... so far, I'm not really up to date on the whole Dragon Ball GT thing. I've only seen the very first set of episodes. This is pretty much the cartoon that got me started in the whole anime thing. Prior to this cartoon, I really didn't like japanese animation at all. Eventhough the series has become more of a senseless violence cartoon with no storyline, I still love it's animation. Of all the fighting and action sequences out there, nothing is better that DragonBall... no other cartoon characters are stronger either...
South Park 
Obviously not your average Saturday morning cartoon show, this funny, but infamous cartoon is directed to a more mature audience. Some people hate it, others like it. I personally think it's a pretty fun show. Although I'm not going to debate whether or not it's appropriate, nor am I here to persuade you to watch this show, I'm merely expressing my personal opinion here.
