I started racing back in 1987/88 season when my uncle started the class formula 500 into new zealand,
As he raced them in Australia before returning to New Zealand.
I am 28 years old have been racing 11 years, Have enjoyed every day!
The class started out with just the two of us then steadly grew from there each season .
We had our first national title in 1992 with my self coming away with win,Was a good way to start my race
carear.
Since then we have raced on most tracks in the north island gaining interest were ever we went.
Our numbers peaked at 18 cars when we raced at western springs ,which was a highlite for me because
it is one of the best speed way venues in the world.
Now my uncle since retired in 1994 my self and good friend terry macdonald bought the moulds and
jigs to keep on building cars and parts to keep class ticking along.
Now the class is spreading down to the south island and trying to get established there go guys!!
