Well then. What am I going to put here? A tribute to all the friends out there that's what.
Having lived in the same town for my entire life. I had quite a circle of friends whom I had known for some time. You know the type. Always around. Some times even when they're not wanted. But still they're there when you need them.
Last August I moved away to a different part of the contry. Way down sauf. Leaving all these friends behind. Starting a new life alone, albeit just for a year, but it came as quite a shock to the system.
It was only when I got down here I realised the full value of friendship, I think. What it means to have "real" friends. Pretty soon I'd met people down here, but it's still wasn't quite the same.
I still miss the friendships I've left back home, and I hope they're all missing me. But as they say life goes on and so we must press on in hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I'd just like to say thanks to all the gang back home and I miss you loads.
But hey. Let's not forget all my new friends down here. I'd like to say thanks - especially for teaching me the lingo.
Some day soon I'll be back oop norf and missing the south but for now I have to make do with fond memories.
The northern gang can be found partying on down here. These were taken at our Easter gathering at a local hot spot.
As for the southerners well.... You'll just have to wait till I can nab the scanner again won't you.
