Police Performs the "Moose-Test" from Austrian newspaper "Die Presse"
photo w168police.jpg 36KB Presently an A-Class Mercedes is tested by Vienna Police.
Vienna (stög)
Presently a model of the A-Class has to take an official "moose-test" with Vienna police. Since a couple of days the small car is put through its paces by specialists of the department of motor vehicles.
If the car "keeps the track" nothing would speak against an integration into the fleet. "It`s the ideal model for the narrow lanes of the city" one officer told "Die Presse".
If the same thing could happen to the car, which in its prototype phase had to get out of the way of a suddenly appearing obstacle ("moose") and capsized, at car chases? We`ll know more in a couple of weeks.
