Gauges
At the risk of sounding all gushy about
the FFR kit again, this is a another example of why I think
these guys are so darned clever. You take the original single-pod gauges
from the donor Mustang, cut up them up individually, and use the extra parts
FFR supplies to mount them in the old style--bezels, glass, etc. I was skeptical
about this kind of parts adapting, but I'm pleased with how it all came
out.
The top photo shows the back of the dash with the Mustang gauges cut up and mounted. Photo 2 shows the front of the dash before the glass and bezels are in, and the last photo shows everything trimmed out. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the dash all covered and finished, but it came out well
At some future point I may spend the $1,000 that Smith's gauges cost, but for now these look and perform just fine.
