As you can see from the pictures, the car was pretty rough in the beginning, but the price was right-- $75. Roy Creger of Roy's VW's in Ironton,Ohio was a big help from the start, as he supplied the car, engine case, and much advice. I promised that if I ever got the thing built, that I would put his name on the front where everyone could see it. Roy has since retired but his shop name lives on!
