This is an interesting conversion. Its obviously a beetle but its got a 350ci Chev engine in it and is street registered. Dont know a lot about it but the pictures say it all! Check out those rear tyres 15"x18.5"x29.5" just a bit bigger than standard!

As you can see, not a lot was left alone with this conversion. Mostly cage etc. I suppose with a quarter mile time of 11.6 @ 120mph you need all the structural help you can get. Notice the big transmission tunnel for the Turbo 400 gearbox with a Ford 9" diff out the back. It also has a fourlink ladder bar suspension setup to get all the power to the ground.

Ok, here's the final picture of this one, the engine bay - or is he just carrying a 350 chev around in the luggage compartment? You can't see it here but that bonnet is basically just mesh so that the radiator gets plenty of air.
