This is a cool 1970 Boss 302. The '70s are nice, but
the 1969 models look a little better and are also rarer.
This is a cool
police Mustang. Of all the newer models, I like the '87-'88 models the
best.
This is
a 1966 coupe. I don't particularly like any of the models from '64
1/2 to '66 except the Shelbys.
This is
a 1970 fastback. I like the model year, but this car would be a hell
of a lot better looking without those crappy wheels and that jacked-up
look. Is he trying to make it look like a 4 wheel drive? I also don't
care too much for white interiors.
This is
a 1973 Grande. The 1973 models suck in general , but the reason I
included this one is his engine and 1/4 time. He has the exact same
engine as mine with only a few minor differences (roller rockers, Holley
Carb), an automatic tranny, and 3.89 gears- and he claims to pull 12.60's@107mph.
I wonder what my car runs?
Back in 1985,
one of my high school buddy's had a girlfriend with a car exactly like
this- it was supposed to be the hottest thing around-The "New" G.T. .
He told me to meet him in Donaldsonville on Sunday afternoon, and me with
my still stock Cleveland was kinda worried- so, as planned we went out
to the "service road" and had some fun. To my surprise, not only
did I beat him, but I beat him by 4 or 5 car lengths. The new "hot"
302 was not all it was cracked up to be-not at all.
This
is a 1970 Boss 302 built to compete against Chevy's Camaro in the 1970
Trans Am series. These did quite well, and it gave Ford a reason
to produce an outright factory hotrod. I love the Mini-Lite wheels
on this car.
