Bryan otherwise know as
6fan from Texas
The pictures below are of the car he raced at Lone Star Speedway at Kilgore, TX
The Pit Crew consisted of Bryan and another guy named Tim.
The car is sponsored by:
Engines Express Inc. in Tyler, TX - who built the motor for free.
McCasland Auto Body in Troup, TX - who painted the car for free.
Jerry's Radiator in Whitehouse, TX - who provided a new Aluminum Radiator.
Tri-Star Machine Shop in Tyler, TX - who lets them use their shop and equipment anytime they need it (free of charge)….
The car is a 1976 Monte Carlo and runs a 408 C.I. motor cranking out about 375 H.P. They use a PowerGlide Transmission and Richmond 5:57 gears in the full positrace rear end. It has racing springs and shocks all the way around, and cost about $5,600.00 to build and took about 6 months to complete. Compared to the older car shown in the background of the pictures the new car is awesome to driver with plenty of power and handles like a dream. Bryan has already won a race with it and plans on winning a lot more!!
This is truly a grass roots operation and my hat goes off to Byran for all the hard work - I know he enjoys racing, but his dedication means a lot to all of us who enjoy watching these guys race.
