| Comments: Great site for F1 nuts, Ive only gotten interested in F1 since Villeneuve came on the scene couple of yrs ago but now Im hooked. As a Canadian ex pat now living in Cyprus I try to follow all F1 much as possible but is difficult. Im puzzled abt Villeneuve' poor results so far in 98 does anyone have any theories, is it the car-new tire rule- or just lost his touch so far, I know its difficult to follow such a great previous yr but his performance so far is difficult to understand for me. | Comments: Formula 1 provides us (USA) with one of life's great love/hate relationships. Interest and coverage in this country is terrible and in part, I think F-1 management is responsible. As the ultimate form of motorcar racing, they have learned alot from CART in attempting to make the series more competitive and therefore more interesting. Now if we could just get better TV coverage. Bernie and Max may be too greedy short term for any real success over here. |

| Comments: I'd just like to say what an excellent site you have there...I am a keen F1 fan (I was up an 2am GMT to watch our coverage of the race), and really enjoyed it. I'm really glad Hakkinen won as I have been following him since Senna left us. Although I'm British I'm glad Coulthard came unstuck as I'm sure the only reason he made the deal was because he beat Hakkinen off the line almost every race last year! Anyway, it's 10.30pm and I'm still at work, so I'm going home. I've bookmarked your page and will be back often. Keep up the good work. Trev. |
