The House on St. Charles...
I bought this house in 1992. I was looking for something I could afford (like all of us), and something that needed a few "improvements". This one had a partially finished downstairs. So this left room for improvement inside, and as you can see, the lawn needed extensive work!
One of my improvements was to finish the downstairs....
Another was to improve the exterior.
I extended the driveway to
accommodate some of my many vehicles and campers that we've owned. I got
the grass to turn green. I added a few flower
beds.
Then, I changed the wooden flower boxes around the flower beds and trees to brick, because although I used pressure treated lumber, they were beginning to rot out!.
Although I still own this house, I bought another that I'm currently living in
and it has MANY more projects for me to complete. Stay
tuned..........
