Games Crew Chiefs Play.

Crew Chiefs love to play, sometimes more than they love to work. They are natural pranksters and jokesters. Through the years, many of Crew Chief games have become traditional to Crew Chiefs all throughout the services. Some of these games are as follows.

"Getting 'em wet": This is a tradition whenever someone leaves the flight or PCS's to a new base or squadron.

"Tagging": The tradition of placing your squadrons patch or sticker on a transient or visiting squadrons' jet. This could also include various forms of art or drawing.

"Practical Jokes": This may also include the asking of a new troop to go into supply or tool crib and ask for ten feet of flightline. Do not ever leave anything lying around, Crew Chiefs have been known to put other Crew Chiefs personal items in a bowl full of water and placing them in the freezer.

"Tug Races": This one speaks for itself.

All of these are just some examples, there are many other games that Crew Chiefs play, however, one must be a Crew Chief to really appreciate them.
