Kerry Gascoigne's 1750 in action at the Adelaide Classic Rally - "The car has 45's with 34mm chokes. The carby mounts are of my own manufacture as are all the modifications. CR is aprox 12:1 It has about 110 hp at the rear wheels and it also carries its full weight. It fully complies as a production sports car according to the CAMS rule book"

Les Singh's 1750/2000 Hybrid GTV - "My car is a hybrid I built myself as the ideal GTV. Its on a 1750 body with full 1750 real leather interior. In my opinion the 1750 GTV is the better of the later two GTVs (not to be confused with Giulia GTV and GT which are an entirely different line). The body has never been drilled to add aerials or mirrors, or cut for sunroof etc. The mechanicals are 2000 GTV including limited slip diff. The brakes and suspension are all Alfa but from various cars - Giulia Super and Berlina springs, 2000 GTV hubs. Shocks are Koni Sports. Wheels are Cromodora special type (not original Alfa) 14 X 5 and 1/2" The car is quite a bit lower than standard so I run 195-65 tyres for extra clearance for road use although I prefer 195-60s. Engine has stock bottom end, original height head (no increase in CR) and 40 DCOEs. I have done some head work careful porting and matching, although valves are all original. Engine turns out 157 HP (Alfa 75 TS @148 HP used as a reference - dynoed at the same time). More importantly - there are no Japanese parts in this car!"
