Under Construction

Ah, my truck. I love my truck. This may seem strange to some, but it's been with me through the toughest parts of my life. It's the second vehicle I've owned (not including my beloved bike), the first being a powder blue 1987 Dodge Charger. I bought the truck when I was 17, it was brand new. The official name for the color is Hawaiian Orchid Metallic, though most just call it plum or dark purple. It only has a 4.3 liter V6 in it right now, though I plan to install a V8 at a later date. To help the engine move the weight of the truck, I've installed a Jacobs Omnipak and a Gibson cat-back dual exhaust.

For aesthetics, I installed a front air dam with driving lights, tinted windows, Ventvisors, a soft tonneau cover, spray-on bedliner, painted taillight covers, running boards, and had all badging removed except the bow-tie in the grille.
Running gear includes a two inch drop in the rear, 15x8 American Racing Equipment wheels wrapped in 275 60 R15 rubber, and aftermarket gas shocks.

The stereo has a stock head unit running to an Alpine V12 amp which feeds through an MTX crossover to a pair of Infinity Kappa 4x6 plates and a dual voice coil liquid cooled 12 inch Orion subwoofer enclosed in a custom made box. A 10 disc Kenwood changer keeps the tunes coming for those cross country trips I keep making.

Update: My truck has been sold. I'm now working on rebuilding an '84 Pontiac Fiero 2M4. It will have it's own page pretty soon.

Update 6-30-00: Well guess what? The Fiero idea fell through. I'm just not making enough money to fix it. Tried selling it on ebay for $100, nobody wanted it. Mom got a brand new Chrysler Sebring convertible and gave me her Bonneville (it can be seen in the above picture in the background). The Bonneville is great! It has lots of luxury and the power to romp all over many other cars on the road.
