"Welcome to the page dedicated to "BUBBA", my 1960 Dodge Truck"

This Dodge Truck is being rebuilt on a 1979 extended cab long box heavy half ton Dodge frame. The frame has been shortend 41 3/8" to bring the wheel base to the correct length. This frame has disk brakes, independant front suspension, and a 9-1/4 rear end, it's much stronger than the original frame with its straight front axle was. The truck has a Ram V10 in it now and I'm working on finishing up the fabrication of Master cylinder, steering column, and the heater/ac box. I hope to have the truck running by May 2004, Just in time for the 2004 Power Tour.

Below is a picture of my 1960 Dodge D-100, it came frome Coleman Texas and was used there by the water and sewer department for many of its early years.

The old Dodge is very solid for it's year, it has a little rust in the front of the fenders, and a little rust in the fender area just in front of the passenger door. The bed was covered with steel sheeting, it was a bit rusty when uncovered. I bought the truck with no engine or trans, it was originally a 6 cylinder truck. It now has a Ram V10 in it with a Viper top end. The truck will be painted Viper Red, and probably will have a silver stripe.
