Apu studied at Cal Tech (Calcutta Institute of Technology) graduating as best of over 7 million students. Then he left his parents and his girlfriend Princess Kashmir.
Apu then went to Springfield, where he continued his studies at the Springfield Heights Institute of Technology (look at the initials!) in the class of the famous Professor, Dr. Frink. Afterwards he took a job at Kwik-E-Mart where he still works. Apu was nearly deported when Springfield was kicking out the immigrants (Quimby´s Proposition 24) , but he took a citizenship test. Since that time he is an Indian-American. The Squishee:
