Calendar of Events

Club Events include : 

1) Monthly meeting club runs: our first Wednesday of the month night meeting (except January) 

2) Monthly outing club runs  

3) Special club runs : long distance run e.g. nationals, or a one-off significant event 

These are identified on the following list by a pink title.  

All other listed events (including the regular events at the bottom) are optional club runs. Members wishing to attend are to make their own arrangements.

Members attending any of these runs in a ‘Special Interest Vehicle’ registered car should either print out a copy of this list to take with them, or take along their club magazine.

3 May 2009 - Monthly Outing Club Run, David Hack Classic Meet, Aerotec Hangar, Spitfire St, Toowoomba Airport. Display car entry 8am to 9am, public from 9am. Classic aircraft and cars together. $5 entry per person, display cars pay a maximum of $10 per car. 17 May 2009 - Special club run Mount Mee Touring Run to mark National Motoring Heritage Day. Members to meet at BP Burpengary from 9.00am for a 9.30am departure. Morning tea at Woodford, lunch at Oceanview Winery at Mount Mee.

17 May 2009 - Classic Speedway Association's 4th Annual Car, Bike Show and Swap at Greenbank Sport & Recreation Grounds, 720-768 Middle Road, Greenbank. Gates open 6am for swap, car show entrants required on site by 8am. Judging at 10am, trophy presentation at 11.30am. Car entry fee $10, spectators $3. Enquiries phone Frank 0407 035 412.

23 May 2009 - Moreton Bay Shire Council, Rodz, Rocck n Roll Event, Pine Rivers Park, Gympie Road Strathpine. All display cars to be on site by noon, Car Show starts 12.30pm, prizes awarded 3pm, no cars to leave before 5pm. Stage entertainment from 1.30pm to late. Rides, food and drinks. Cars must be pre-entered. No cost to enter, no cost for spectators.

Historic Racing Car Club (Qld) presents two days of cars and bikes from the 1920s to the '80s racing in timed spring up and down Sir Samuel Griffith Drive, Mt Coot-tha. Cruise via Beechmont to Canungra, lunch at Canungra Hotel, afternoon cruise through Mount Tamborine.

9 August 2009 - 16th Annual Back to 63 Classic Car SShow & Shine, Swap Meet at North Ipswich Park, Pine Street, North-East end of the Town Bridge, Ipswich, QLD.
