Custom Dash Project
I removed the stock gauge cluster and replaced it with my own.  An aluminum panel was fabricated to hold the four main gauges in the dash.  The panel was brushed and anodized gloss black after it was machined.  The two additional gauges are mounted using a gauge pod.  Autometer Ultra-lite electric gauges were used along with an Autometer Quick lite shift light.  The Speedometer is electronic so it can be calibrated for gear changes and/or tire size changes.  I added weather pack connectors to each gauge for easy removal and installation.  The bright lights indicator was moved to the panel just below the headlight switch.  I also converted to an electric cooling fan and installed a manual fan switch and indicator light.  The manual fan switch and indicator light is located under the lighter.
This is the back side of the panel.  The connectors on each gauge make it much easier to remove the panel.

This picture shows the texture of the brushed aluminum panel a little better.
Heres a picture of the gauges installed in the car.    The shift light can't be seen well in this picture but is located under the over hang of the dash just to the right of the lighter.
