UPDATE 7/27/06: It's been about 8 years since I've done this EFI conversion and my memory is foggy. I apologize for the poor website, but I did this years ago and some of the pages don't work. I get many emails asking about various aspects of the EFI swap. Please take a look at these pages that I put together to get a basic understanding, and then check out the classic Mustang discussion at www.stangnet.com . Since I did this swap years ago, there have been lots of folks who have done the swap. I can guarantee you one thing - you will love the result! I still remember how my Mustang started up easily, idled with no problems, and roared to life with it's newly found torque and horsepower. It was great. I can guarantee you will love the swap, just dont get discouraged about the wiring aspect. If you want to tackle it yourself, theres resources out there that will tell you what to do. If you dont like the wiring, there are now lots of companies that can rewire your existing harness or sell you a new one. Good luck, and remember that the project is just as much fun as the result! (Well, for me it was, anyway). Unfortunately, I sold the car years ago. Fran, if you're out there, drop me a line and let me know what the car looks like now! If you people need to email me it's matt[removeforspam]65stang@hotmail.com
