1966 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible
My childhood dreams of cars always included classic convertibles and of course Vettes. When I finally became a Vette owner three years ago I thought I would have to settle for reaching only one of my childhood car dreams. However, in August of 2000 my wife became the owner of this beautiful Pontiac. The car was purchased new by Uncle Harold and when he passed away we had the privelage of becoming only the second owners of this automobile. Although, the car is technically my wife's car, I usually get to drive it more than she does. It was completly rebuilt from 1995 to 1998. The car was re-painted and the 389 engine was complelty re-built. The list of other items replaced on the car during the restoration includes tires, shocks, exhaust, battery, brakes, fuel pump, carpeting and more.
Message to Harold You took great care of this car for the first 35 years, I'll take just as good care of it for the next 35 years. |
