Bryans 65 VW Bus Restoration

Welcome to my current VW bus project webpage. I am sort of new to the restoration game but I am learning everyday. I am currently working on a 1965 21 window deluxe bus. For about 10 years now I have been wanting a delux bus and when the oppurtunity presented itself in the German paper I had to check it out. Oh ya I currently live in Southern Baveria very close to Nurnburg. Well the bus was up in the moutains of Germany sort of near Frankfurt. It took about 3 hours to get there but it was worth it. The bus needed alot of work but that is what I was expecting to see. There had been some changes to the bus interior, the prior owener(PO) had converted the old bus to a camper which looked real bad, Check the pic out Camper Pic . So I nursed the old bus home, it drove fine at the PO house but there was just to much moisture around the wheel cylinders to take any chances driving up and down the moutains so I chose to put the bus on a trailor. When I got the bus home it was time to rip everything out and clean everything. The plans are in the works for a complete restoration.
