In this section I will post all the e-mails I received due to this site
that I think are neat stories about Fieros.

If you have a cool Fiero story or even just want to show your support for the cars we love and
you would like to see it posted here, e-mail me.

I LOVE the Fiero. It's affordable, it's unique, and its the closest
thing to a Ferrari that a poor person will ever own.  My first car was a
bloated black '94 Mustang, and I HATED it.  Most people said, "ooh, a
Mustang," and then they saw the big monster.  It was so long, that
someone hit it as I was pulling onto the highway.  They thought I would
be out of the way, but I was driving too slow and the car was too long.
(I'll never make that mistake again).  I hated driving that death trap.
My next car was a beautiful, cherry red 1988 Fiero that looked like sex
on wheels.   It was only a 4 cylinder, but it caught attention where
ever it went.  Nobody can stop talking about how cute it is.  Where ever
I go, I hear, "what a pretty car.  is that a Fiero?"  You don't get that
much attention in a '94 Mustang, or a Ford Taurus (like Dan said),
either.  That's for sure.  Nothing can beat a Fiero in unique appeal.
Although mine breaks down constantly, this car is very forgivable.
Having two seats is the greatest, because you can always have an excuse
not to haul a bunch of people around, and that saves gas money in
itself.

hey,

I have lots of stories about the Fiero I once owned nearly two years ago.. If
you could've seen my fathers face when I brought my 86 Fiero sport coupe
home.. He had only one word "TROUBLE!!" I just kinda ignored that comment,
but boy was that the truth! It was my 2nd car so being I Was seventeen and
when your in a Fiero you get the "What the hell is that" look.. Anyways I
had a buddy that worked for Circut City so I got really good deals on car
audio stuff, but you really can't put a decent sub box behind either seat
cuz, other wise you will be kissing the dash.. I tried that road but got
sick of it.. I had my car for about four months then the head went and then
since it got really hot the head cracked... Took two months of here and
there of fixing to get back to shape.. two weeks later, this is a true fact
IT STARTED ON FIRE!!!!!! Just plain sick of the nightmares I got rid of it for
only $200 bucks... I now have a 99 Chevy S-10 ZR2 and have no plans right
now for another..

Good Luck,
Joe
Hey!

Ya, use any of those pictures on his site that you want (except the one w/ him in the car!! Or, use it and I'll send a new one of that shot).

Well, looks CAN be deceiving, as I learned.  There's quite a few small problems w/ it, but not too many :)   The nose has quite a few rock chips... I'm just gonna get a bra on it.  There's a spot of paint flaked off on the driver's side ground effect, not too big, I have touch up paint.  Umm... a small chip in the paint behind the driver's side 1/4 window, small one on the side of the spoiler, and a spot on the engine compartment where there was at one time a fire back there that cracked the paint.  That's all touchup stuff though, that's real easy.  (I can't do it, but SOMEONE can, and do it easily).  My only real concern right now (after my brakes/manifolds/clutch work) is that on the hood scoop, driver's side of the scoop, its cracking along the seam.  I guess that should have been expected and reinforced when they put the scoop in there, but they didn't.  So that needs repaired and it'll take a little bit of paint.  I think I have about $1000 worth to get the body back how I want it, but I really don't have anything to complain about.  Its a great car, and I got a fairly good deal.  I paid $3,750 for it... $4G's including delivery.  I need a windshield, brakes, hydraulics in the clutch, manifolds, and that paint/hood work done.  So I THINK I should get it all finished and ready for whatever for around $6,000.  We'll see  what happens.
Go ahead and post this Email.  The site is great, one of the better one's I've been to.  Not too cluttered, and it shows off your beautiful car...
To anyone that DOESN'T own a Fiero, and SHOULD, I would just like to mention the fact that there's a Fiero for everyone... every price range, every performance range.  I got a VERY nice '84 SE w/ a GT body, perfect paint, great engine, and immaculate leather interior for $1,750.  It was a head turner.  Still is.  People would tell me "I wish I had a car like that" and I'd see them driving a Ford Taurus that they bought for $4,000 and wonder why they even say stuff like that.  And my new GT, which is one of the fastest cars I've ever driven, not to mention the best looking, is going to total me about $6,000, with everything you could ever ask for in a sports car.  Racing wheels and tires, performance suspension, badass paintjob, leather interior, sunroof, nice stereo, not to mention amazing performance.
But, Chris, I should get mine back from the shop by this weekend and I'll snap a few pictures and send'em to ya.  I really appreciate you making me some space on your page.  Hope to see you at a show some day.

Take care
-Dan
