Jeff Gordon needs an attitude adjustment from Richard Petty and the other drivers that brought NASCAR racing to the top! Those drivers that appreciated, acknowledged and thanked the race fans that payed to see them. Now some kid that is so full of himself that he NEVER thanks the fans is destroying it. Too bad! Why? Because RJR pays Gordon and his wife “the former” Miss Winston. Why does NASCAR let it go on? It's the 50th Anniversary and they love the hype!
Talladega - Oct 11 1998 BAN restricter plate racing and Jeff Gordon! It's time for the real fans to let NASCAR know what they think! It's a whole lot cheaper to buy a ticket to your local Demolition Derby than a NASCAR sanctioned demo derby at Talladega. Easier to get to and get home from, too! I don't think I'm alone feeling this way any more.
Charlotte - Oct 4 1998
Jeffy lays back at Charlotte and then whines at the end! Why did NASCAR let WonderBrat stay on the lead lap when he should have been a lap down?" Why do you think? As my son says, "Duhhhhhh?" Sorry, couldn't resist that. The only good thing I have to say about the race is that neither Jeffy or Ray whined during their post race interviews. "Thank GOD!" Gee, they only have to show up at the last four races and finish somewhere around 16th. Not too hard to do when NASCAR hands you everything on a silver platter.
Martinsville - Sept 27 1998
Did Jeffy give Martin the finger at Martinsville? It sure wasn't one of those friendly hand gestures some drivers use. Poor little Wonderbrat just can't take close racing. Anyone else would have been glad to put him in the wall. Mark's just too darn nice for his own good. I guess that's why he gets the cheers and Whinerboy gets the jeers.
Congrats to Ricky Rudd, he earned this one.
Dover - Sept 20 1998
Jeffy gets something to whine about at Dover, but Ray does more whining than Jeffy. Oh no, is whinyness catchy? Is whinyness even a word? Don't know, but glad to see NASCAR finally found that black flag and used it. But again, good ol Jeffy thinks of no one but himself. He could have sent condolences to Bill Elliott like Mark Martin did in his interview, but he didn't. So what else is new? He's a self centered, stuck up, spoiled brat who has had everything handed to him all his life.
Richmond - Sept 12 1998
Jeff Gordon ends up a Burton - Martin sandwich at Richmond. Mincemeat! Evernham whines about traffic! He's taking after Jeffy. Sorry guys and gals, but there's 42 other cars out there trying to win too! FORD Rules, CHEVY Drools! By the way, did you see Jeffy getting impatient and playing bumper tag?
Darlington - Sept 6 1998
Why were Jeff Gordon and Ray Evernham so agitated at Darlington? Because everyone has finally caught on to the fact that Gordon and company are cheating and NASCAR is looking the other way! NASCAR will never admit the truth because they have to much to lose.
New Hampshire - Aug 30 1998
Once Again, Good Ol Jeffy Can't be bothered to Thank the Fans! Even Jimmy Spencer, hurt and all, managed to thank the fans. Jeffy's so full of himself (kind of like the Indy car crowd!) and has got his head stuck so far up Rays butt that he can't even see, or hear, what's going on. And to top it all off, they borrow this poor child for Ray to hold in Victory Lane as a PR stunt and try to pawn it off as a caring gesture. Jeffy didn't even notice the poor kid. I guess when you don't have any fans you do whatever it takes, which seems to now include trying to imitate what most other REAL NASCAR DRIVERS and THEIR WIVES have been doing long before Jeffy and Miss Winston came along.
Bristol - Aug 22 1998
140,000 Boos for Gordon! 140,000 Cheers for Martin! That's the way the night went at Bristol. "Thank GOD" Mark Won! And in all his grief, still took the time to thank The Fans, those of us who The WHINER always seems to forget about! I guess that's why he doesn't have many! Congratulations to MARK MARTIN, you deserved this! And congrats to ESPN for interviewing a very emotional Mark Martin and leaving it at that. They had time to do other interviews, but chose not to. Good job!
Michigan - Aug 16 1998
NASCAR DOES IT AGAIN!
Jeffy's a half lap behind with 25 laps to go and what does NASCAR do? They throw an unnecessary yellow! Why? To let The Whiner Boy catch up. Was there anything on the track? NO! See any speedy-dry put down? NO! When Elliott blew up there was no yellow. Why now? Because they had to make sure Jeffy could catch up, pit, and have another chance to fix his car. Did you hear anyone in the crowd cheering when The Whiner got out of his car? NO! All we heard was BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! from ALL the fans. What's NASCAR's problem? They've gotten too big , too popular and too commercial for there own good! They used to want competition, not bordem. Before NASCAR was cool they would change the rules if one person won too much. Not any more. The sooner NASCAR realizes that Jeffy isn't what most real fans come to see, the better off things will be!
Watkins Glen - Aug 9 1998
NASCAR Lets Gordon win at The Glen! What's wrong with this picture?! Gordon jumped the restart! Period. But...as it was so well said in Days of Thunder, "NASCAR, in its infamous wisdom" just goes to Gordons pit and says "Please don't do that again, or we might have to let someone else win." NASCAR NEVER warned anyone else, they just threw the black flag. Just ask Rusty. WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL THIS IS !!!
NASCAR needs to come back to reality before THEY lose!!!!!!
Indy - Aug 1 1998
Jeffy even Whines when he's winning at Indy at the end of the race. Maybe these are the sponsors the kid needs?
Anyway, he would have got his butt kicked by the 88 car who made up four laps. Pretty impressive! So, who had the most awesome car?
New Hampshire - July 12 1998
Gordon got his butt kicked by 8 seconds! He should take image lessons from the Roush drivers that beat him! "Thank GOD" they rely on their abilities, not their pit crews, to win!
Sears Point,CA - June 28 1998
NASCAR felt they had to throw the yellow to let Gordon catch up. NASCAR seems to think they have to keep Gordons fans happy so they don't WHINE too much. NASCAR did just fine before Gordon came along!
Pocono - June 21 1998
Gordon and NASCAR Screwed Rusty at Pocono! And Gordon still got BEAT! If Rusty did that to Gordon he would still be WHINING!
Michigan - June 14 1998
Maybe Gordon should concentrate more on his image and less on chasing that Pepsi can around his car!
Gordon got BEAT by a REAL Professional at Michigan!
Richmond - June 6 1998
Jeffy got what he deserved at Richmond! Put into the wall! Boo Hoo.
