Pre work before going into the Paint and Body shop. |
- Remove floor carpet, floor padding, headliner, dash knobs, door
panels. Side passenger windows.
- Wire Brush and Power Drill pan evaluate extent of rust on Pan.
- Remove running Boards and front trunk carpeting and spare tire.
- Remove all body moldings, VW emblem and VW1300 emblem.

Paint and Body Work |
- Repair Body.
- Replace fenders.
- repair all body dings (I circled in magic marker what could find)
- Repair the 7 cut out holes in the truck from removed after market
AC unit that show through to the cabin.
- Replace Bonnet
- Repair floor pans and coat with marine coating in black finish.
- Paint entire automobile including bonnet area and entire deck lid
inside and out the original color of Pearl White.
- Replace windshield
- Install new weather seals through out.
- Repaint wheels to original colors. White on the rim and black in
the inner hub
- Remove Gas Tank, clean and repaint black

Interior work |
- Install Head Liner
- Install Carpeting and rubber floor mats.
- Rebuild rear seat padding.
- Recover seats with red vinyl American weave.
- Replace Drivers and Passenger bottom seat cushion and rebuild back
rest cushions.
- Replace non-stock shift lever knob.
- Install cleaned up door panels and levers.

- Install new VW Emblem and body side moldings.
- Install new turn signal and brake light lenses.
- Install New Front and Rear Bumpers
- Install Rear Side quarter pop out windows.

- Redo wiring/organize wiring in front trunk area.
- Replace carpet with red carpet.
- Replace instrument panel wires cover.

Engine and Electrical Work |
- Pull engine and replace main seal.
- Check engine for any other major repairs that might need to be
done while engine is removed.
- Replace Fan Shroud Housing
- Clean engine.
- Replace oil gasket seals
- Install missing heater hoses
- Replace any other missing Tin.
- Replace Turnsignal Dimmer Switch
- Repair non working turn signal/brake lights and hazard lights.
- Replace muffler
- Replace plug wires
- Resurface fly wheel
- Replace clutch plate
- Replace fire wall engine compartment

- Check valve clearance, replace spark plugs, rotor and distributor
if needs replacing.
- Review service manuals for any other needed tune-up or maintenance
