Well, for those of you who don't know, I graduated from Southwestern University on May 11, 1996. After four years, I'm proud to say that I earned my Bachelor's degree with majors in Economics and Political Science from a little school in Georgetown, Texas. Despite the fact that I loved Georgetown, and the Southwestern campus, I was thrilled to leave the Phi Delta Theta House as fast as I could and "get the hell outta Dodge"!
In December of 1998, I graduated from the University of Houston's central campus. While working 30+ hours each week, I completed my MBA in marketing. Although I'd begun my studies with a concentration in finance, it was a marketing class taught by the Vice-President of Penzoil that persuaded me to change my specialization.
Career experiences as a financial analyst enabled me to begin my first full-time job at Compaq Computer Corporation. While I began as a Pricing Analyst within the Small and Medium Business Division, I was soon promoted to Product Pricing Manager of the Deskpro EX and EXS product lines. While this position has provided a wealth of opportunity, my most memorable experience enabled me to travel to both Singapore and Hong Kong on business. Today, I help determine the world wide pricing strategy of the Deskpro EX/EXS and EN product lines.
