The Scoop on Softail-X

I'm fortunate to live in the helmetless State of Ohio. I have a 92 Softail Custom and plan to do a little chopping on it this summer. But that's another story..........

I'm currently in college, majoring in education. At some point in my life I may become a high school English Literature teacher. Of course I might toss the whole plan to the wind and head for a beach in the tropics and write the next great American novel. I would settle for selling a screenplay to a network for a movie-of-the-week starring actors that haven't had a real job since the 70s, but hey, that's another dream.

I am an amateur body builder who prefers the peace and tranquility of my home gym versus the noise and attitudes that prevail at commercial gyms.

When I am not studying, working out, or on the bike, I spend my free time wrenching on my truck. Once the mechanical bugs are worked out, I have plans to transform it into a thing of beauty!!

But enough about me, the reason for this page is to tell you about the love of my life, my softail custom. It is a stock bike now right now, but I have plans to free it from the chains that bind it's aesthetic beauty as it has freed me from the chains that bind me to an otherwise dull existence. Once the warm weather returns I have plans to unleash the pure unadulterated bike that exists under all the factory frump.
