As any true automobile enthusiast knows, you have to "build" your car to suit yourself. Some people are happy with it right off the dealer lot, but many (myself included) always want something more unique - faster, or better looking, etc. In order to accomplish this... the Mod-Fest must begin as soon as possible! (It's never-ending, by the way - right guys?) In the past few months, I've got the "bug" for more speed & power. So, below is a list of what I've done for starters. :) |

Made the car look much stealthier | $150 |
Again, going for the "stealth" look. | $140 |
Gotta have the "dark" look - all black car | $15 |
Much better pull in the upper RPM, sounded awesome too, low pitched howl. Money well spent. (Sold it after getting the blower - see below) | $135
(sale) |
Worked well in conjuction with the SLP. Smoothed out the air flow greatly. (Good for the blower as well) | $50 |
Bolted right on, with minor modifications to the factory hood brackets. Looks very aggressive! One of a kind in my city. | $208
(GP) |
This 4.5# blower is amazing. The powerband is seemingly never-ending now. From 3k on, the car pulls like a freight train. There was slight detonation, but 104 octane boost solved that for the time being. (Until I can get a MSD timing unit) | $2099
(GP) |
Keeps the motor cooler for use w/ the blower. A must have! | $15 |
Just put these on the back - the stock pads were wearing thin. They seem to stop much quicker than stock, and don't fade. The fronts will be replaced next. | $50
I've always loved the look of these rims. I came across killer deal, couldn't pass it up, and 4 days later they're on my car. | $235/set
Harold, my bud. |
This is one of the best mods I could have done to the car. It sounds much more aggressive than stock, which I love! Very nice looking too. | $566 |
With the combo of this & the Y-pipe, I can feel a definite improvement in top end power. I can also hear it, loud and clear, under accleration. | $215 |
Stainless steel, less restrictive than the stock pipe - supposedly good for 10hp, maybe more with the blower I have? See above. | $219 |
This is the best polish I've ever used! Period! | $Varies |
4/10/98 - Put the MSD 6A with the Boost Timing Master (BTM) on the car. This cured all signs of detonation, with the dial set to 1.5º of retard per pound of boost. | $225 |
It provides more spark, and had the + and - terminals for the wires from the MSD to connect to! Easy installation. | $30 |
4/21/98 - Put these into the indentations on the rear facia. Really dresses up the back of the car, looks great. Peel & stick! | $59 |
4/23/98 - Extends the life of the tranny, while increasing performance. The shift firmness can be adjusted via a swtich from inside the car. Mine is on the firmest setting. VERY snappy! | $39 |
10/98 - Replaces the stock LT1 module behind the ECM. It smoothed out the entire RPM range nicely. Quick 10 minute mod. | $27 |
11/98 - I put these on to prepare for my 6# blower upgrade. The stock injectors tend to lock-up at high boost levels (higher fuel pressures). These will not. Very easy to install. | $239 |
11/98 - Replaces the stock non-adj. regulator. Allows you to raise or lower fuel pressure for best performance. Easy install. | $99 |
11/98 - Swapped the blower pulley so to gain another 1.5# of boost. Very noticeable SOTP difference. No dyno runs yet with the new upgrade. | $319 (with fuel pump) |
11/98 - This is a 210LPH inline pump from Powerdyne. A must-have with the 6# blower - to prevent fuel starvation high in the RPM rang. Runs fairly quiet, too! | see above |
