design featuring a sleek new fairing, plus
numerous functional improvements.
- Wider and taller
windscreen provides increased wind protection and
reduced turbulence through a windscreen vent
system.

bright, dual projector-type headlamps, new
mirrors and new instruments with step-motor
construction for more precise operation (like
Hayabusa), plus LCD odometer and tripmeter.
- New Keihin CVR31
carburetors are equipped with a throttle position
sensor for more precise ignition timing control,
and a new throttle slide design. The TPS and new
throttle slide shape combine to improve fuel
mileage and increase low rpm power feel and
response.

system output - from 25 to 40 amp max. output.
- Improved chassis
performance with reduced rake and trail and
increased wheelbase.
