Here we go! This shot shows the body lifted about 10" off the frame.
This shot captures the harness and rig that had to be created in order to lift the body off the frame given a 9' 6" ceiling. This rig also added resulted in the force on the body being straight up. Hence there was very little inward force. The rig also reduced the length of the harness. The blanket is there just to protect the car should something go wrong. It was actually never needed.
A front shot of the harness and rig as it was lifting the frame.
Rear shot showing the exposed frame and gas tank as the body was lifted off.
Front shot of complete rolling chassis right after the chassis was
rolled out under the body and down the driveway
Here is the rolling chassis after we pushed it into the other garage bay.
Notice the battery still in place and all the spark plug wires. Really I could of still started this baby, but there would not have been a good place to sit if I wanted to scare the neighbors by taking it out for a spin
This is a shot of the right hand body mount and shims right behind the battery.

Close-up. Notice the double hump heads
This and the following images shows the body on the body dolly. This is the front of the body dolly. It is important to note that with out the radiator support in place there is next to nothing to support the front of the body.
Left front side of body dolly. Notice the 2x4’s at the top right
of the picture. These are sitting on top of the body dolly and the body
sits on the 2x4’s at the body mount points
Left side looking to the rear.
Left rear closeup of 2x4’s that support the rear body mount points. This image is taken looking into the left rear wheel well.
That dark shinny thing at the top middle of the screen is the left
quarter panel. Below that you can see the two tool compartments. I have
the body dolly up on blocks to get more hight so I can work under the body.
Left side looking froward
