Yea, the Fifties and Sixties. You could cruise for
hours in your old Chevy with two dollars worth of gas! I remember leaving for school
on the first warm spring day and wrestling with the choice of going to school or skipping
and cruise all day with a few of my friends. We would all throw in our lunch
money for gas and cruise around Public Square looking for "Chicks".
