My name is Mike. I am 42 years old and live in Northern Virginia. I was employed by AT&T for over 12 years, but was laid off by the evil Death Star folk. Hired by EDS 6 weeks later, what a great company, I've been with EDS over almos6 years now. EDS cares about their people, and gave me all the training I needed to perform my job, (what a concept, hellooooo AT&T). If you have the chance, EDS is a good company to work for, not that I'm blowing the horn for this company, but I must admit that they have treated me well, and given me training, (which I really appreciate). I have been married to my wife Lisa for 18 years, -- technically, see below -- and we have an 15 year old daughter named Leslie. My Wife and I had a bit of a problem with our Marriage, but I learned one major thing, I needed to change in order to change our relationship/marriage. She left on 12-30-2004, and will return on 4-22-2005.
We live in a small townhouse, own a 2000 Chevy Blazer, (sold my '84 Lincoln TownCar), a Chevrolet Z24-- traded it in for a 2006 Cehy Monte Carlo -- see below --, have 2 cats, named Ralph and Odie, a dog named Bear, one lizard named Scales, and a mouse named... Moose. Oh, and one Beta fish, thing looks dead half the time. His name is, well, "Are you still alive?"
I am also interested in BEER, computers, The Internet, Kubrick, Information Security, Web Site Security, Nintendo, Sci-Fi and Action Movies, Cooking, Gardening, and some other stuff.
As of 2007:
All the animals are gone. After Lisa and Leslie moved home, Ralph became sick and we had to put him to sleep. Odie lost control of his bowels, months later, and at his age, was put to sleep. Scales died, as did the mouse.
On Sept. 25th, 2006 I caught my Wife in a hotel room with another co-worker. She Abandoned and Deserted our home a day later. I changed the locks and gave a key to my house to my daughter, which my Wife used to enter my houseon october 4th, 2006, remove our dog Bear, and had him "killed". -- There was absolutely no reason for this except spitefulness.
In 1 month she will file for the Final Decree, and a Court date will be set. My Marriage is over. And my Friendship with my Wife, 23 years, more than 1/2 of my Life, is over. She is not the person I knew 23 years ago, nor 10, nor 5, nor 2 years ago. She has gone Mad, and I will be relieved when this is done. As for the new Monte Carlo, she DWI'd that into 3 other cars... and refuses to follow our PSA. Oh she yells and screams if I do anything wrong, but the attorney's, state BAR, and the State or Commonwealth of Virginia itself all favor the woman, even if she is an Adulterer. What a sad state this country has come to. ... So in a few months, my Marriage will be over. Over.
