This is another creation of my brother's small gun thinking. It is louder than the Mini-Gun that he also designed, but nowhere near as loud as the Bazooka. But this one is somewhere between them in design.
After building his Mini-Gun, we found out that the chamber wasn't supporting enough of a fuel/oxygen mixture for combustion. We tried to blow some air into the chamber after spraying the propellant in, but what we breathe out is carbon dioxide. And there's not enough oxygen in it for it to work. Nitrous Oxide might do the trick, but I havn't tried it, but I do think it will work.
So his mission was to make another mini gun. I told him that he needs to make a large chamber cause the other gun's was too small. Having an ignitor from the mini-gun that we could use, he came up with the tee design. The barrel was in one end of the tee, the chamber in the other, and the ignitor in the side.
Now if you have caught on, the 1-1/2" x 1" threaded reducing bushing connects the chamber to the barrel. This is to keep the design small for purposes of storing and transportation. Now you can buy other barrels to put on the chamber, or a bigger chamber on the same barrel.
For a ramrod, a small dowel marked 22" down is what we use. Just push a potato, apple, or whatcha got around onto the muzzel of the barrel. Unscrew the end cap, and then ram it down to the mark. Spray a little of your propellant in the end of the chamber and cap it. Point it where you want it to go and push the button.
What also works with the mini-gun is the chamber for this gun. Buy a 1" x 3/4" male reducer and screw the two together. Now shoot smaller plugs with greater power.
