Welcome to my web site. My name is Steve Lau and I built this site to show and share information about my '87 944 turbo. I will say now that the information and viewpoints given on this site are my personal thoughts on Porsches and 944 turbos. By no means am I deliberately promoting or demoting any products or services that are contained on this site. With that said, let's get on with the show.

I bought my car in the summer of 1994 and I believe that I am the third owner. With its performance it has undoubtedly given me the "Porsche Sickness". Those of you who own 951's understand what I'm talking about. It's the best-bang-for-the-buck sports car, with the possible exception of C4 Corvettes (Chevy parts... much cheaper). So over the course of 5 years, this addictive hobby has motivated me to learn as much as possible about 951's and all other Porsche's.

Added a dyno sheet of my car with just performance chip modifications. See the DynoTime.

After viewing other people's dyno sheets, you can now return back to the DynoTime page without having the Flash file load - that was annoying..

  Added a Dyno chart of a Stock 1988 Porsche 928 S4......

Movies are now ready for downloading...

Add Scott Story to DYNO TIME ..... Thanks Scott for sending your information!!

Front Spoiler notes:

I get atleast an email every other day about my "front splitter." Well, I got it from American International Racing (A.I.R - I won't recommend the business practices there though). GT Racing is the only other company that sells this piece as far as I know. Expect to pay around $200-$250 for it. The composition of the piece is made up from fiberglass and a sheet of kevlar. The biggest pain was getting it lined up perfectly with the nose piece and drilling the holes.
I don't have any problem clearing the biggest types of speedbump (which seem to be at movie theaters), but I always get scared when I see one :) Also, I would like to add that besides making my car look good, above 120MPH there is a nice frontal down force that can be felt when driving over those "swell like wave forms" on the freeways. (no more "lightness" feeling - confidence inspiring).
