Jerry Nadeau will get the chance of a lifetime in 2000. After driving for four different teams in his first three seasons on the NASCAR Winston Cup circuit, he is now part of one of the most well known NASCAR teams in the sport. Rick Hendrick surprised many by naming 29-year-old Nadeau to drive the #25 Michael Holigan Chevy. Nadeau has been racing since the age of four. He won 10 karting championships from 1984 to 1990. His professional debut came in open-wheel racing in the Skip Barber Eastern Series in 1991. His eight first year victories earned him Rookie of the Year honors, and a third place finish. The next year he went to win the championship. Nadeau debuted in Winston Cup racing in 1997 driving for Richard Jackson in five races. The next two seasons he drove for Elliot-Marino Motorsports and Melling Racing.
