November 1999

In this issue: More Pictures From the European Car Festival!

November Monthly Meeting

On the ninth of November we had three Ferraris, one Maserati, two Alfa Romeos, two MGs, one Healey and a Mitsubishi and Datsun in the car park. Specifivally, Steve Karapetian drove his Ferrari 308 GT4, Tim Simmons drove his Alfa Romeo Spider, John Hauser drove his Healey 3000, Thor Mirchandani drove an MG, Jim Clarkson drove his Ferrari 328 GTS, Tom Jones blasted in from FCI, Jack O’Brien drove his MGA, Steven Jones and Jason Fedler came in the Mitsubishi and Dan and Teri Emmi drove their Ferrari 328 GTS, Richard Hipwood drove his Maserati, Blake Frazier his Z-tub and Norman Wigginton and his son brought their Alfa Romeo Spider.

Classic BMC Mini Cooper

Norman Wiginton brought Alfa Romeo Museum pictures from Arese. Jason Fedler showed some excellent slides from the Ferrari 355 and Historic Challenge Races and Corsa Rossa’s European Car festival. What a treat and yes he could quit his day job if he so chose!

Ferrari Testa Rossa/330 GT

Richard Hipwood displayed his Photographs from the European Car Festival which are even more stunning than the BCDS rally shots that were previously awe inspiring. (Some of Richard's pictures are featured in this issue of the on-line newletter! (Ed.)) Especially interesting were some of the Pictures of Peter Krause driving down Reynolda Road in the Siata! What talent is amongst our small circle of Italian car nuts. Richard is looking for an Alfa Romeo Montreal.

Peter and the SIATA

Thor Mirchandani is heading up a Corsa Rossa tour Sunday November 14th from Winston Salem up through the Sauratuan mountains north of Winston Salem. If you are interested call Thor at 336 773 1008.
