Corsa Rossa's European Car Festival Update
We have received many emails and phone calls regarding our European Car Show at Reynolda House and Village. The rumors are true: The 2003 show was our last Euro Show.We have hosted this popular fall event in Winston-Salem since 1996, and each year the event was a greater success than the previous. Simultaneously, other organizations began hosting shows targeted at European cars and car fanatics. On the one hand one can never have to many European car shows, but on the other hand there are only so many weekends in October. In September 2003 Corsa Rossa decided that the 2003 event was to be the last.
This does not mean that there won't be a great European Car Show in the Carolinas this fall: Corsa Rossa has decided put our full support behind the European Auto Festival in Spartanburg, SC.
In addition, a group of Corsa Rossa car enthusiasts are organizing an Automobile Festival at the Virginia International Raceway (VIR) in the spring. This show is not limited to European automobiles, but open to fine American and Japanese sporty-cars as well. Contact Randall Yow or Richard Hipwood 336-287-5856.
We ask you to please extend to them the same support and attendance that you showed the "original" Corsa Rossa show over the years.
We want to thank all the European car owners, enthusiasts and corporate sponsors that helped making our show such a wonderful success (you know who you are!), as well as all the fantastic people of Reynolda House and Village, who so generously provided us with the picturesque venue.
