My bike is used for commuting, touring and exploring dirt roads and fire trails. Some of my favourite trips have been two trips through the central Australian deserts and trips to Tasmania and the tropical north around Cairns.
I even once competed in the Centre Trek 750 a two day cross country rally.
My Transalp has 70,000km on it, this is my second Transalp, I owned my first one for 8 years and approx 200,000km.
I have made several modifications including;
A Staintune low level muffler.
White power rear shock and fork springs.
A larger front brake disc and caliper
An alloy bashplate
Bagster tankbag.
Gearsack soft panniers.
Givi topbox
Dynojet kit
I also have two sets of wheels and run road tyres on one set and dirt tyres on the other.
