On occasion, I like to try to be a musician, and if owning a lot of equipment made one proficient at making music, I'd be among the best. Unfortunately it doesn't, so I can take comfort in the fact that I've got all this stuff. That way, I can appear to be serious, as long as no one asks me to perform. At the present time, I'm looking to buy some new equipment, so a few of the following items are for sale. Here's what I use...

'79 Ibanez Artist

'79 Ibanez Artist

This 1979 Ibanez Artist is the guitar I've owned the longest. I traded a Standard Stratocaster for it in 1990. It has gold hardware, a mahogany body, 24 frets, and a gorgeous flamed maple top. Recently, Ibanez wised up and began re-issuing the Artist series. I'm very happy to have one of the originals.

Frothdog

Fender 50's Stratocaster

This is a 1992 Fender 50's Stratocaster, from Fender's "Collectable Series". Its a copy of the early Stratocasters. It has the vintage "spaghetti" logo, vintage hardware, 8 hole pickguard, and vintage style pickups. This is the guitar I play most often.

Thinline

'69 Fender Telecaster Thinline Reissue

This is my newest guitar. .

[ ball ]Amps

I also have several amplifiers. My main amp is a Fender Roc Pro 1000. 100 watts, single 12" speaker, footswitchable hi/lo gain, tube driven gain channel, solid state clean channel, with reverb

The meanest of my amps is a 70's model Music Man 130. It has twin 12" speakers, one hundred thirty watts, tube circuitry, two channels, tremolo, and reverb. This thing is big, heavy, and loud, just like me. Sometimes, I run this amp in tandem with the Fender, which gives a really powerful tone with lots of low end. I would use the Music Man more often, but the thing isn't all that easy to transport...its so big, its got wheels on the bottom.

I also have a Crate G60 with a Celestion that I use for practice.

Most of the time, I play clean or use the gain on the Roc Pro, but I also have a flanger and a Korg G1 digital processor.
