WELCOME HOME.
I had the honor of serving a very short time in that wonderful country of Nam. I was lucky I can home. I saw limited action, I was an Army Signal Corp advisor in early 61. I met one Navy Seal, I forgot his name, he is an actor, was a cop on Hillstreet Blu
s. He was as I remember just leaving for home. He was one of the first Navy Seals that swam ashore in late 59-60.
I have had the bessings, two have two foster sons
and one foster daughter to serve in the Navy, and
one foster son to serve with the Marines. My foster daughter that was in the Navy, married a Marine Lifer on Guam. They are serving the last year of his 20+yrs in Japan.
I had the pleasure of going aboard the Corral Sea,
to work on some eqpt in the Cryp room, before I shipped back to stateside.

Excellent page, not sure how you got in to me with it but thanks. I spent most of '67 on 'yankee station" aboard USS Bon Homme Richard, and saw 5 0f our pilots go out and not return. Glad there are still people who remember.
