THE 1999MADMARIN-MAZDA RX-7, 100% TOUGH

Last year was an intense season in NASA's PRO-7 series for us.  If it wasn't for our perfect attendance, we probably wouldn't have squeezed into 2nd place overall at the end.  However, none of it would have been possible without the incredible behind-the-scenes  efforts of our sponsors.  Marin Mazda of San Rafael has played a key role in allowing us to get the car prepared in time for every race.  Their technician's technical expertise in rotary engines enabled us to keep the car in perfect running condition for every race.  We ran in 75% of the 97 PRO-7 and Pro Sedan season, and all but the last weekend of the 98 PRO-7 season on the same 160k mile engine.  Mazda Auto Dismantling of Rancho Cordova is also an extremely generous sponsor, providing us with used RX-7 parts in excellent condition throughout the season.  We didn't have a single DNF the whole season, thanks to the reliability of MAD's brake, suspension, and drivetrain components.
