Unfortunately, Murphy had to be put to sleep on 2-11-99 due to heart problems.  He was 13 years old.  He was a great dog.  He was part of my life since I was 10.  I grew up with him.  I doubt I'll ever have another dog that will be as good of a companion and be able to make me laugh like he did.  I have nothing but good memories of him and I will never forget him.
