Engine Bay

This seriously detailed holden 202 c.i. inline six cylinder motor, has found it's way between the chassis rails of a very well presented Lx four dour holden Torana.  A nice combination of braided hose lines, body colour and polished billet aluminium complete this tidy engine bay.  Several billet accessories including the rocker cover and interior dash plates were built by the owner when he was still at school, well done Bruce.  The engine combo has changed since this photo was taken, rumor has it that a 700 hp 350 c.i.. Chev has taken the old spot were the six once resided. Four link rear end and shortend ford 9 inch diff setup has been added to hopefully produce low 9 second E.t, can't wait to see the completed article.

This Monaro, nick named "Lethal Edition", is beautifully detailed throughout.  Burgundy paint work and 'Centre Line' wheels add to the overwhelming appearance of this street machine.  Matching interior helps also. The LE monaro is also a limited edition holden performance car, hence the LE.  Click to enlarge.

The Holden 'one tonne' utility, is there a better work horse, I think not.  This fine example is just perfect.  Cowl mounted 'Autometer' gauges, 'Hornet' bonnet scoop, custom paint, mini tubs and polished tray give this one tonner the 'tuff' look.
