TOMATO SAUCE APPROX. 20 OZ.

JALAPENOS OR ORTEGA GREEN CHILES (FOR MILD SALSA) APPROX. 4 OZ.

GREEN AND/OR WHITE ONION (CHOPPED FINELY) APPROX 1/4 CUP

WHOLE TOMATOS - 2

OREGANO 1/2 TBSP.

CILANTRO LEAVES 1/2 TBSP.

CUMINO -1-DASH

GARLIC SALT 1/2 TBSP.

BLACK PEPPER 1/2 Tsp.

NOW FOR THE ONE OF THE SECRETS:

ADD APPROX. 4 OZ. OF APPLESAUCE FOR BODY AND TEXTURE. FRESH PAPAYA, MANGO OR PINNAPPLE WORK WELL ALSO...........................


SECRET #2 :

INSTEAD OF USING TOMATO SAUCE, USE EL PATO SAUCE IT COMES IN YELLOW AND GREEN CANS . THE YELLOW BEING THE MILDER OF THE TWO. YOU CAN FIND IT NEXT TO THE TOMATO SAUCE IN MOST STORES. WE USE ONE CAN OF THE YELLOW AND ONE GREEN THAT WAY ITS NOT TO HOT OR MILD, JUST RIGHT.


MIX EVERYTHING IN A LARGE BOWL THEN POUR IN A BLENDER AND RUN AT HIGH SPEED UNTIL EVERYTHING IS PUREED. IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE THIS RECIPE THE DAY BEFORE YOU PLAN ON USING IT SO ALL THE FLAVORS BLEND WELL. BELIEVE ME IT'S ALWAYS HOTTER THE NEXT DAY !!!!!! OR IF YOU PREFER A CHUNKIER STYLE SALSA, JUST FINELY CHOP ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND MIX ONLY SLIGHTLY.
