Asparagus Casserole

Ingredients :
  • 1 can asparagus with juice
  • 14 crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk, add more if needed
  • cheese slices
  • Directions :
    pour asparagus with juice into a pie plate, add crushed crackers and 1/2 cup of evaporated milk. cook at 350 degrees for 30 min. stir twice during the 30 min. then place cheese slices on top and put back into oven until cheese melts


    California Casserole

    Ingredients :
  • 2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 med green pepper, chopped
  • 3/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can of cream style corn
  • 1 (8 oz.) can of tomato sauce
  • 1 (10 3/4) can of condensed tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1 (4 oz.) can of mushrooms, undrained
  • 1 (10 oz.) can of tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can of sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 1 (4 oz. ) jar of chopped pimiento, drained
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag of wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  •  

    Directions :
    in a large skillet cook ground chuck with green peppers and onions until the meat is browned and vegetables are tender; drain. add next 11 ingredients; mix thoroughly. add noodles mix well. pour into a dutch oven or a large baking dish. cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 min. sprinkle with cheese; return to oven for 10 min. or until cheese melts.


    Corn and Bacon Casserole

    Ingredients :
  • 6 bacon strips
  • 1/2 cup chopped onon
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) cup of sour cream
  • 3 1/2 cups fresh or frozen whole kernel corn
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • Directions :
    in a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. drain reserving 2 tbsp of drippings. crumble bacon set aside. suate onion in drippings until tender. add flour, garlic, salt and pepper. cook and stir until bubbly cook and stir 1 minute more. remove for the heat and stir in sour cream until smooth. add corn, parsley and half of the bacon. mix well. pour into a 1 qt. baking dish. sprinkle with remaining bacon. bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until heated through. sprinkle with chives. serve


    Hash Brown Quiche

    Ingredients :
  • 3 cups frozen loose pack shredded hash brown, thawed
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup diced fully cooked ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced green peppers
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  •  

    Directions :
    press hash browns between paper towel to remove excess moisture. press into the bottom and up sides of an un greased 9 inch pie plate. drizzle with butter. bake at 425 degrees for 25 min. combine the ham, cheese and green pepper; spoon over crust. in a small bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. pour over all reduce heat to 350 degrees. bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean. allow to stand for 10 min. before cutting.


    Lasagna

    Ingredients :
  • 2 lbs hambuger meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 can of tomato juice
  • 1 pkg mozzarella cheese
  • 1 box of lasagna noddles, cook until tender
  • Directions :
    brown meat and onions and peppers. drain off fat. add sauce, paste, and juice. sprinkle oregano, a little sugar and salt to suit your taste. turn down and simmer for a while. in a 13 x 9 pan put meat sauce mixture in first, then a layer of mozzarella cheese on top of meat, then a layer of noodles then sprinkle with parmesan cheese. repeat this process till all ingredients are used and you have several layers. put in oven till bubbly. cook at 350 degrees or till hot and cheese has melted.


    Mexican Casserole

    Ingredients :
  • 1 lb of ground chuck
  • 1 med onion, chopped
  • 2 small cans of chili con carne
  • 1 small carton of sour cream
  • 6 slices of american cheese
  • 1 medium bag of Dortio chips
  • Directions :
    brown meat and onions. mix with canned chili. spread on bottom of oblong casserole dish. spread sour cream carefully on top. lay cheese slices on top of sour cream. crush doritoes and sprinkle on top of cheese, enough to cover entire dish. bake at 400 degrees for 15 min. enjoy.


    Stuffed Pizza

    Ingredients :
  • 1/2 lb italian sausage
  • 1/2 lb ground chuck
  • 3 1/3 cup bisquick baking mixd
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (15 oz.) jar of pizza sauce
  • your favorite toppings
  • Directions :
    grease a rectangular baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2. cook and stir sausage and ground chuck until brown. drain, set aside. combine baking mix and water until dough forms. divide into 2 parts. one slightly larger. on surface dusted with baking mix. roll larger portion of dough into rectangle 16 x 14. fold into thirds. place in dish. unfold. press on bottom and up sides of dish. sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese, cover with 3/4 cup of the pizza sauce. add meat mixture and other toppings. cover with 1 1/2 cups of cheese. roll remaining dough into rectangle 13 x 9. fold into thirds. place over cheese in dish. unfold. press bottom and top crust edges together to seal. make small slits in top crust. spread with remaining pizza sauce and cheese. bake 22 to 25 min. or until crust is golden.


    Texas Style Potato Casserole

    Ingredients :
  • 2 lb package of frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • box of cornflakes
  • Directions :
    mix all ingredients and place in 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. top with 1/4 cup melted butter mixed with 2 cups crushed cornflakes when ready to bake. bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
