Not Fast! Not Cheap! But a family tradition!
A real Italian Recipe

6 to 8 Country Style pork Ribs

4 or 5 Itailian Sausage Links

1 medium to large white onion chopped

3 medium to large garlic cloves finely chopped

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Brown Ribs, Sausage, onion, garlic adding salt and pepper

1 (28) oz can tomatoes We use Hunts whole peeled

2 (8) oz cans Hunts Tomatoe Sauce

1 (8) oz can Hunts Tomatoe Paste

1 small can mushroon Pieces or Buttons

Mix all the wet ingredients in large cooking pan

Add 52 oz of warm water.
For each can of tomatoes add a can of water

Add premixed Italian seasoning or you can add
individual Spices..Garlic, Oregano etc.

Add a touch of Crushed Red Peppers

Add 10 oz of a Red wine. I have used a variety of wines
Whatever you would drink with an Italian meal is fine

Cut Sausage to 1/2 inch lengths, Debone Ribs if possible

Mix well adding the Browned meats and onions.

Bring to a boil stirring often to prevent sticking

Reduce heat and simmer about 3 hours uncovered

As sauce looses its water and begins to thicken

cover and reduce heat to low.

Cook an additional 2 or three hours

Add another 10 oz wine about 30 minutes prior to serving

Enjoy this one! If my Mom knew I was making this public and knew

the recipe so well she would probably never cook it for me again!

SHHHHHHH! MUMS THE WORD
