Wisconsin breweries

Madison Area/Southern Wisconsin
Milwaukee Area/Southeastern Wisconsin
Fox Valley-Green Bay/Northeastern Wisconsin
Northern and North-Central Wisconsin
Western Wisconsin

Although one purpose of this directory information is to help the reader find the many breweries in Wisconsin for tours, please plan your visits in advance. Making an advance telephone or written request is an important courtesy to the brewer and can also help save you the disappointment of arriving only to find no one available to give you a tour. Keep in mind also that a number of Wisconsin's craft breweries are very small businesses operated part-time, and in some cases are adjacent to the brewmaster's residence.

If you are touring breweries in cyberspace: In deference to others who use perfectly good computers that don't have a gazillion megabytes of RAM, I have chosen NOT to have brewery links open in a separate browser window. Simply use your browser's back button (or CTRL-left arrow) to return to the brewery page you were using.

Breweries elsewhere

The primary focus of this site is craft beer in Wisconsin, but you can use this site as a starting point for information about breweries elsewhere. Just use the links on the left. The Great Taste pages provide descriptive listings of nearly 100 midwestern craft breweries in the festival program. For other breweries, go to my links page ("Beer Sites") and try the Association of Brewers or realbeer.com for a searchable directory of breweries. You should also try the Brewing News site from the "Publications" page. More will be added. Stay tuned....
