It was really in Bremerton...
That I was stationed, on an aircraft carrier (what else?). Its
about and hour by ferry from Seattle, so I was able to get over
there on a regular basis. I was only up there for about six months
but it must have rained, snowed or both every day. Of course its a beautiful area but I
don't think I'd care much for it long term, wouldn't want to live there. This suited
the locals just fine. Like Alaskans, they are a territorial bunch. Way cool monorail!
