Each year Christmas is celebrated all over the world by people
of different backgrounds and for various reasons. However, the
real reason for Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus
Christ who is alive today!God who created the universe, humbled
Himself and was born into this world as a human being some
2,000 years ago. His purpose was to save us because we cannot
save ourselves. There is no way for us, sinful people to remove
sin from our lives. Only Jesus who is sinless qualifies to do
that for us. Jesus came to die in our place.<P>
Christmas speaks of God's love for us. God loved us so much that He gave His
only son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him will not be destroyed but
will have the abundant life which God promised will never end. The person who
humbles himself and accepts Jesus as his Savior will have new life; he can trust in God
and be delivered from hell. But the person who rejects God's help must
receive the rightful punishment for his sins.<P>
At this Christmas season, may you experience the peace that Jesus brings and
may you also receive the new life that He wants to give you as you enter
into the new year.
